In partnership with the village of Rochefort du Gard not far from the company's headquarters in Avignon, EOLE-RES wanted to make future generations aware of the importance of sustainable development and created an important educational project within the framework of the construction of the new infants' school in the village.

EOLE-RES has installed a small wind turbine (baptized "Ecolienne") in the new "educational" orchard of the school. The wind turbine is connected to a model of an illuminated house intended to teach children about the production of electricity and energy savings.

The inauguration of the small wind turbine was followed by a Round Table on wind power. Through this project we aim to inform and make young people aware of the issue of energy supplies in the years to come and the necessity of our planet's ecological balance.

In order to familiarise children with the concept of renewable energies, we organize several whenever possible open days on our sites or in schools for children in primary, secondary or further education.  These days are always very successful and give rise to some interesting questions!

EOLE-RES has also created an educational project (viewpoint indicator) in partnership with the village of Marsanne in the Drome department. The two schools in the village have worked with a local painter so as to create an orientation table inaugurated in 2009.

EOLE-RES also established relations with several schools in the region through various activities/initiatives: aprenticeships, lectures/courses given by our employees on renewable energy issues.
