SOLIDARITY
TELETHON
For the last five
years EOLE-RES has been supporting the national charity "AFM
TELETHON" (French association for muscular dystrophy and genetic
disorders). We organise each year visits and events on our
sites (presentations to disabled children, as well as to staff
children, treasure hunts, giant turbines...) The EOLE-RES employees
manifest their solidarity by selling products in collaboration with
the AFM for the profit of the TELETHON foundation, in their
childrens schools or to friends and family.
In 2010, the Téléthon works
committee, made up of members of the EOLE-RES staff, organized
several events in order to support the Téléthon.
In September a team of hardy participants took part in the
Transporthon: a day event which regroups several sporting
challenges and cultural events.
In November EOLE-RES mobilized its employees and partners in order
to organize two on-site events:
-
a giant human turbine on the brand new Langres Sud wind farm located in the Haute Marne region. 120 pupils from neighboring schools got together on site to form a giant human turbine.
-
a giant human sun on our first solar power plant located in the Aude region. 65 pupils from neighboring schools got together to form a giant sun;
A final event was organized in December. This last event was actually a renewal of last years' indoor football tournament called "Les Energies de l'Espoir". EOLE-RES managed to unite 14 companies which took part in this challenge. In exchange for a donation to the Téléthon, the companies enjoyed playing a few football matches against each other.

GOODPLANET
In 2010 EOLE-RES sent its seasons' greetings by email, instead of
printing them. The money saved by this action was donated to the
Good Planet Foundation (www.goodplanet.org),
foundation dedicated to the promotion of environment education,
that aims to place ecology at the heart of every individual
conscience.
ELEMENTERRE
EOLE-RES has been supporting the ElémenTerre Association (www.elementerre.org) for
4 years now. This association aims to raise children's' awareness
as far as ecology and environment are concerned, by organising
educational interventions, animated by professionals in colleges
throughout France. The purpose of this operation is to develop a
reflexion around citizenship and ecology, as well as to develop
their curiosity and make them change their habits and those of
their parents !
4L TROPHY

| The 4L Trophy 2010 |
The 4L Trophy is one of the biggest European charity sporting events. Each year the event unites hundreds of students and Renault 4 cars (4L), which they have to drive over 6000 km across France, Spain and Morocco in order to distribute more than 35 tonnes of school material for children in the South of Morocco.
In 2010 we
sponsored two teams of students from the Ecole des Mines d'Alès.
Both teams were part of the Magic4L Association (http://www.magic4l.com/index.html).
Apart the pure humanitarian aspect of this event, the two teams
have chosen to integrate ecology in their pursuit by using
renewable energies as fuel for their 4L's (solar panels on the roof
of one of the cars, and used vegetable oil fuel for the
other). In 2011 we will sponsor the 4L team of the
INSEEC from Paris.

| Elisa Houdry |
EOLE-RES
also sponsored Elisa Houdry, world champion in
paragliding, with more than 14 years of experience and holder of 3
titles: France, European and world champion. This ecological sport
that uses wind as a means of propulsion corresponds entirely to our
choices and to our activities.
EOLE-RES
sponsored the Athletics Club of Villeneuve les
Avignon and invites its employees to participate at a 10
km (running) course. In 2010 EOLE-RES renewed its partnership with
the athletics club of Villeneuve les Avignon for another three
years, which shows its implication and its commitment to reinforce
local development.
EOLE-RES also sponsored the football teams of Roussas and
Marsanne in the Drome County, and of Murat sur
Vébre dans le Tarn, as well as the Chateauneuf de
Pape - Orange Rugby Club.
For the last two years EOLE-RES has been sponsoring the
Ruffey Les Echirey Bike Club in Cote d'Or during
the ATB championship in Bourgogne, and the Association « Cyclos
Cardiaques » (about 30 cyclists that have in common the fact that
they all had suffered heart surgery).
Each year the Jeune Canoë Kayak Club of Avignon
organizes a special day dedicated to introducing kayaking and
canoeing to the public. This club also encourages local firms to
support this initiative and participate at a challenge entitled
"Entreprise". EOLE-RES participates every year since
2007.
