EOLE-RES wins regional trophy for corporate social reponsibility
On Tuesday 4th March, in the presence of François Mariani, President of the Vaucluse Chamber of Commerce, EOLE-RES was proud to receive first prize in the Vaucluse CSR Awardsii. This first regional edition of the wellknown PACA CSR Awards to reward social, environmental and local initiatives that are integrated into a corporate social responsibility strategy.

EOLE-RES produces its first terawatt hour of clean green electricity
EOLE-RES has announced today the start of construction of the "Langres Sud" wind farm. Once completed, this wind farm will take EOLE-RES past its first terawatt hour of clean, green energy. Located in the south of the Haute Marne Department, on the Langres plateau, this wind farm will be one of the largest in France with an installed capacity of 52 MW. It will be made up of 26 x 2 MW turbines, capable of generating nearly 120 million kWh annually — enough to cover the electricity needs of approximately 50,000 people.

EOLE-RES Announces Solar Power Plant Planning Application has been Approved
EOLE-RES has announced that it is has received the final planning application approval to build a photovoltaic solar power plant, representing 5 MWc. The project is located in the Aude county, near the foothills of the Montagne Noire. Located on the territory of the village of Villanière, the Puits Castan project will be built on infertile mining ballast to the south of the village.

EOLE-RES is Opening Up its Pays De St Seine Wind Farm to the Public
For the Global Wind Day, EOLE-RES is organising, with the support of the French Renewable Energy
Association, two open days on Sunday 14th June from 12 noon until 6pm and on Monday 15th June from 10am
until 6pm on its Pays de St Seine wind farm, near St Seine l’Abbaye in the county of Côte d’Or.

EOLE-RES is opening its Marsanne, Haut Languedoc and Lomont wind farms to the public for the EUROPEAN WIND DAY 2008.
For the second European Wind Day, which will be held once again on the 15th June, over 40 wind farms in France will be open to the public, including Marsanne (Drome), Haut Languedoc (Herault) and Lomont (Doubs), all farms developed and built by EOLE-RES.
